Subject Topics: Each year there are 5 competitions. The competition subjects are determined by the CCCC board, with input from the members. Image content should be suitable for all age public viewing.

Submission Categories: B&W Prints, Color Prints, no slides.

B&W Prints: This category encompasses traditional B&W prints and monochromatic prints (i.e. grayscale, sepia, duotone, tritone, quadtone, etc.).

Neither the maker’s name, nor the print title may appear on the front of the print or matting. Entrants are encouraged to arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to competition and to pre-label their entries. Prints must be identified on the back, in the upper right corner of the back, with the approved club print label. See CCCC Yahoo website for detail rules and labels

Competition Scoring: A 9-point scoring will be provided for each submitted image. Judges are expected to comment as part of the teaching process. Overall technical quality, composition and impact are factors of major concern, but judges may use any basis of point allocation they desire. Awards will be given for first place, second place, third place, and honorable mentions in each submission category (Color and B&W).

Monthly Website Photo Of The Month (POM) Competition: CCCC members will be allowed to submit one JPEG image for a monthly competition. CCCC members can vote monthly on submitted images that are displayed on the CCCC website. Each month a winner will be chosen based on electronically submitted votes.
