POM Competitions are open to all members in good standing. Unless specifically changed for a given competition, the original image capture (whether digital or film based) must be less than 5 years old for entrance into the competition, and must have been captured by the entrant.
There will be some number of themed competitions during the year. The themes will be announced by the POM Administrator at least two months prior to the competition month. The competition themes are determined by the Competition Chairman, with input from the CCCC board. Photograph content should be suitable for all age public viewing.
The Submission period opens on the 1st of each month. One digital JPEG with a horizontal dimension of 1280 pixels and/or vertical dimension of 1024 pixels, sRGB color space, should be submitted to the POM Administrator through e-mail at POM@capcitycameraclub.com, on or before the Last day to Submit. Filenames should include the the photographer's first and last names, for example: "First Lastname.jpg". A step-by-step guide to Resizing Images for the POM entries may be found at the Yahoo! Groups-Files page or here: Resizing Images for e-mail. The photo should fit into a 1280 x 1024 box but maintain your original aspect ratio.
Club members may vote each month starting on the Poll Open date, by selecting the three photographs they judge to be the best as they are displayed in the poll on the CCCC website. Voting will remain open until the Poll Closed date.

Based on the vote totals on the poll, 1st place, 2nd place and 3rd place winners will be selected. When the POM is themed, it will be the responsibility of each voter to judge whether a photo adheres to the theme. Each poll will be found at http://capcitycameraclub.com/forum.
