Photo of the Month Competition (POM) Rules
- Subject Themes:
There will be some number of themed competitions during the year. The themes will be announced by the POM Administrator at least two months prior to the competition month. The competition themes are determined by the Competition Chairman, with input from the CCCC board. Photograph content should be suitable for all age public viewing.
- Submission Acceptance:
The Entry period opens on the 1st of each month. One digital JPEG with a long edge dimension of 2,048 pixels and sRGB color space may be entered on or before the Last Entry Date. A title of up to five words should be supplied in the "Title" box. The title will be viewed along with the image when the POM voters are performing their monthly voting duties.
- Competition Schedule:
Club members may submit a single image during the monthly entry period and may vote starting on the Vote Open date, by selecting the three photographs they judge to be the best as they are displayed on the CCCC website. Voting will remain open through the Vote Closed date. The POM of the Year competition occurs in late November each year with the entrants being the 1st place winners of the previous 11 POM competitions.
